About us
Hello, welcome to Arabella Havanese. We have been dedicated to raising quality, AKC standard havanese since 2010. Our dogs are either champion sired or have champion lineages. All our dogs are health tested for CAER (eyes), Patellas, Cardiac, and DNA testing to ensure future healthy puppies. We participate in the Breeder of Merit Program. It is our goal as responsible breeders to always strive to improve and preserve the havanese breed.
We are located in the beautiful hills of East Tennessee. We have a large family with 5 beautiful grandchildren. Family is important to us. It is our hope to produce a puppy you will be proud of and love as a life long member of our family. Many of our puppies have gone on to be therapy dogs, RV travel buddies, office pets, as well as beloved family dogs. Our puppies are all over the world including Canada, Hawaii, and even Japan. We specialize in red havanese, chocolate, and tri-colors.
We love this breed. We feel havanese make great family pets for people of all ages. However, it is a dog that loves attention and does not appreciate long hours alone. They do well with a buddy if left by themselves. They do require regular grooming as well. Please do your research before purchasing a havanese to be sure it is a good fit for you.
We mainly place our puppies on a limited registration agreement. This is to ensure the integrity of the breed and to prevent unwanted puppies. We occasionaly will consider a puppy for show/breeding contract on approval basis only.
